If Your Education or Training Isn’t Opening the Door to Opportunities…

Prosperity Ready can help you navigate the job market. The program is a 10-month online course specially designed for internationally educated immigrants with degrees and advanced training who want to restart or advance their career in the U.S. Taught by experts in human resources, image management, and marketing through live, weekly sessions, it includes proprietary training materials that focus on navigating corporate America.

During virtual group sessions, you’ll explore U.S. workplace culture, strengthen your resume, practice interviewing, and learn how to build professional connections. You’ll also develop skills in wellness, impression management, and negotiating job offers, with opportunities to connect directly with employers who are actively hiring.

In addition, one-to-one coaching is tailored to your goals and includes support with resumes, LinkedIn, networking, interviews, and navigating workplace culture.

A structured curriculum paired with a relationship-based approach supports participants in securing meaningful employment that reflects their expertise. Prosperity Ready ensures job seekers at any stage have the tools, guidance, and employer connections to pursue career-aligned opportunities.

In 2024, 30% of Daily Work job seekers held college degrees, but we often struggled to provide the specialized guidance they needed, especially around networking and corporate culture. Prosperity Ready's programming fills this long-standing gap, allowing us to be a stronger resource for them.

The History of Prosperity Ready

Lisa Perez, founder and former CEO of Prosperity Ready, spent over 25 years as a human resources executive in Fortune 500 organizations. Throughout her career, she witnessed the obstacles and inequities diverse people faced in the workforce. Frustrated by the slow pace of change, she recognized that organizations needed to address the talent gap by building more inclusive workplaces. She decided to make a bigger impact by shifting her focus to serve immigrant communities directly, learning from their lived experiences.

Perez launched Prosperity Ready in 2018 to address the workforce barriers faced by immigrants with degrees and advanced skills, while also partnering with employers to transform the systems that had unintentionally been hindering their success. The name embodies the idea that prosperity is about more than just wealth – it represents well-being, security, health, and the ability to design your own future.

In 2025, Perez passed the reins of Prosperity Ready to Daily Work, knowing her program will continue to expand to meet the changing needs of immigrants in our community.
